Euan, Level 3 Personal Trainer at R+R Fitness

I'm Euan

Level 3 Personal Trainer · R+R Fitness

I started my own fitness journey to build confidence and put on muscle — I was the skinny kid. I've also bulked too far along the way. I've been round the full circle and I'm now the fittest version of myself.

Combining a harder focus on nutrition with advanced training systems, I use what I've learned over the past six years to help other people get there without the detours I took.

Training and nutrition are handled together, because treating them as two separate problems is why most plans fall apart by week three.

Turn up. Get coached.

Classes go on the R+R timetable and are booked through the gym. You can book a one-off class, take a classes membership, or upgrade an existing gym membership to a dual membership. A fixed slot in the diary does half the work for anyone whose week tends to get away from them.

Before you book

I haven't trained in years. Is that a problem?

No, and it's the most common starting point I see. The first session finds out what you can do now and everything is built from there. You won't be thrown under a heavy barbell on day one.

What does it cost after the free one?

It depends which option you go for and how often you train, so a number here would be guesswork. We work it out on a short call once I know what you actually need.

My hours are all over the place.

Shifts, offshore rotations and travel weeks are normal here. Sessions run seven days a week and move when your rota does. Online coaching covers the weeks you can't get in.

Do I get nutrition help too?

Yes, and it's part of the same plan rather than a separate service. Food you'll realistically eat after a long day, not a weighing scale and a lifetime of chicken and rice.

Do I need a gym membership for the free session?

No. You don't need a membership or a day pass — you'll just sign a waiver at reception when you arrive, same as anyone training at R+R for the first time.
