Get it right,
then get strong
In-person sessions at R+R Fitness, built around technique first. Whether you've never touched a barbell or you've trained for years and stalled, it starts with how you move and builds from there.
What's involved
Technique and form
Every session is coached. For beginners that means learning the movements properly from the start — the structure and habits that make everything afterwards work. For experienced lifters it's the finer execution detail that gets more out of each exercise without adding more of them.
A structured programme
Written around your goal and your lifestyle, not pulled off a template. It accounts for how many days you can realistically train and what else your week is carrying.
Progress you can see
You'll know what you lifted last time and what you're working towards this time. Progress becomes something you can point at rather than something you hope is happening.
Who it's for
- You're starting from scratch and want to learn properly rather than copying what you've seen online
- You've been training a while and progress has flattened out
- You want someone watching the lift and correcting it in the moment
- You'd train more often if you knew what you were meant to be doing
How it runs
Hour-long sessions at R+R Fitness in Bridge of Don, seven days a week. Times move when your work does — shifts, rotations and travel weeks are the normal case here, not the exception.
The gym doesn't need to be a life takeover. With the right guidance and structure, any goal is reachable on the hours you've actually got.

Questions
I've never trained before. Will I be out of my depth?
No, and beginners are the most common starting point. The first sessions are about learning the movements properly — the part most people skip and later have to undo.
I've trained for years. Is this still worth it?
That's where the technique detail earns its keep. Most experienced lifters are leaving something on the table in execution rather than effort.
What if I have an injury?
Tell me before the first session and it gets planned around. Working with something rather than ignoring it is normal here.
How often should I train?
We work that out from your week rather than a number I've decided in advance. Consistency at two sessions beats an ambitious four you can't sustain.
