In person where
it counts
One or two coached sessions a week at R+R Fitness, with the app carrying the rest. The option that tends to survive a busy month.
What's involved
Hybrid is both services running together. You get in-person sessions at R+R Fitness where the technique work happens — coached through the lifts, form corrected in the moment, the execution detail that makes each exercise worth doing. Then PT Distinction carries the rest of your week: your training programmes, nutrition, habits and scheduling in one place, with a weekly call to go over how it went and work out where we build from next. Nutrition is set at whatever level of structure suits you — a full meal plan if you want one, or macro targets if you'd rather have the freedom.
It's the one that tends to survive a busy month. The in-person sessions mean you're never guessing whether you're doing it right, and the online side means the weeks you can't get in still count for something rather than being written off.
How it runs
It varies by client and what you can commit to — usually one or two in-person sessions a week with the online side covering everything around them. We set the split at the start and change it when your circumstances do. A busy quarter can shift towards online, and a quieter month can shift back.
In person
Hour-long sessions at R+R Fitness, coached start to finish.
In the app
Programmes, nutrition guidance and habits, with video demos on every exercise.
Every week
A video or phone call covering the whole week — training, nutrition and whatever life threw at it — not just the sessions I'm there for.
Who it's for
- You want coaching on the lifts but can't hold fixed sessions every week
- Your schedule is good some weeks and impossible in others
- You've trained alone and want structure, but also want someone watching your form
- You want training and nutrition handled together rather than piecemeal
Questions
Can I change the split later?
Yes, and most people do. It's set from what your week looks like when you start, and adjusted when that changes.
What happens in a week I can't get in at all?
The programme in the app covers it, and the check-in still happens. Nothing stalls because you missed a session.
Is this better than picking one or the other?
For most people with a full-time job, yes — which is why it's the most common choice. If your schedule is genuinely fixed, straight 1-to-1 may suit you better.
